State Highway 20B Footbridge

This project required a total of 32 tonnes of steel and presented some unique challenges for our team:

• To ensure ease of transportation and handling, the bridge was fabricated in four separate segments. Once onsite, these segments were brought together and site welded with all welding undergoing 100% Ultrasound inspection for quality assurance.
• Another significant challenge was the location of the footbridge, as it was situated next to live traffic. Our team had to implement strict controls to ensure the safety of our welders and riggers while also protecting the public from any potential risks.
